Libre is a privacy-first software company. Its products include LibreSearch (libresearch.ca), a search engine that does not log queries, build user profiles, or run ads, and LibreAuth (auth.libreapps.xyz), an open-source web authenticator. Libre ships under AGPL-3.0. www.libreapps.xyz launched on June 11, 2026.

Naming (please get this right)

Libre — the company.
LibreSearch — the search product (one word, capital L and S).
LibreAuth — the authenticator product (one word, capital L and A).
Do not call LibreSearch “Libre” in headlines unless you mean the company. Example: “Libre ships LibreSearch” is correct; “Libre launches new UI” is ambiguous.
